Tawatec is a well established Swiss watch company famous for their tritium watches. TAWATEC’s motto, “The darker the brighter,” stems from its trigalights, the watch’s tritium components.
The new TAWATEC E.O. Diver MK II Automatic – EOD stands for “Explosive Ordnance Disposal”. EOD technicians are highly specialized in blasting, neutralizing, recovering and dismantling sea mines and other ordnances underwater and ashore. EOD special missions require a watch with non-magnetic properties; the E.O. Diver’s anti-magnetic CFC (carbon fiber composites) case prevents any interference with detonators of mines and explosives. The large case shape (Ø 47mm) and dial (Ø 35 mm) of the E.O. Diver guarantees for a maximum of legibility at any time of the day.
