All TAG Heuer automatic movements are made in Switzerland and must meet extremely strict criteria for precision before they make it onto your wrist. Their high frequency ensures excellent mechanical precision. A number of TAG Heuer automatic movements are awarded an Official Swiss Chronometer Control (C.O.S.C.) Certificate, the ultimate recognition of precision and reliability.

Diameter: 29.3 mm (13 ”) – 39 rubies. Rapid date correction.
Balance frequency: 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
Power reserve: about 50 hours, about 40 hours when the chronograph is engaging.
Hours — minutes — small seconds at 9 o’clock.
Chronograph minutes at 12 o’clock and chronograph hours at 6 o’clock. Date at 6 o’clock.
Oscillating mass: “Côtes de Genève”, engraved “TAG Heuer — Calibre 1887 — Swiss Made”.
The movement is working but it was never tested for precision. As for any other vintage or used movement, a basic revision is recommended.
