DIANEX – Grasshopper-Club Zurich – Swiss Made Automatic Chronograph Watch

1 in stock

Dianex AG Switzerland was a private label and custom made watches manufacturer from Steinhausen (canton of Zurich). The company was liquidated in 2015.

The Grasshoper-Club Zurich limited edition watch by DIANEX is a steel chronograph with a classical sought-after design. This very rare timepiece has a guilloche silver dial dial with dark-blue stars as hours markers and dark-blue hands. The dial is showing a soccer specific 45/90 minutes counter in a small register at 9:00, the running seconds counter at 3:00, and a soccer ball at the 6:00 position.

The watch is powered by an automatic 2824 base movement with a specialized DUBOIS-DEPRAZ chronograph module, combination that gives a total of 49 Jewels with a power reserve of over 40 hours.

The case has a diameter of ca. 37 mm (without crown or pushers). The case-back has a Grasshoper-Club Zurich sticker covering the crystal (easy to replace if you’re not a fan of Swiss football teams), and it’s marked SWISS MADE | 50M / 165FT | REG. MODEL | 49 JEWELS | 075-102-159.

The watch is new and it was never worn. The watch has the original leather strap with DIANEX deployant clasp.

There are no original box or papers available for this watch.

The watch is working and keeping a pretty precise time, but as for any other unused or vintage watch, a basic revision is recommended.

Most of the watches that I am selling are liquidation or collector items, therefor I make no claims and give no warranty regarding continual accuracy of time keeping. Used, antique or vintage watches may need servicing, even if they are in good running condition. Unless otherwise stated they may need to be cleaned, oiled, adjusted and or timed. I cannot guarantee a used watch to be waterproof or water resistant.
