Valjoux 7751 automatic watch movement – 17 Jewels.
This version of Valjoux 7751 it’s a 17 jewels automatic integrated chronograph watch movement with ca. 46 hours of power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 bph and with triple-calendar complication. Standard 6:00 – 9:00 – 12:00 layout, with 24 hour indicator at 9:00, a date indicator circling the perimeter of the dial, as well as the day and month at 12:00.
The movement has blue screws, the oscillating weight is decorated with “Cotes de Geneve” stripes.
The movement is marked with VALJOUX logo , 7751 | 17 JEWELS | SEVENTEEN | SWISS.
The layout is the standard 7751 Valjoux layout with 24 hours/dual time zone at 9:00, chronograph seconds by central watch hand, 30 minutes at 12:00, and 12 hours/moon-phase at 6:00. The date is indicated by a central pointer circling the perimeter of the dial, day/month opening is at 12:00, with black letters (in French) on white discs.
The movement works well and is keeping a pretty accurate time. As for any other vintage or unused movement, a basic revision is recommended.
