Calibre 956 was introduced in 2008 for the Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Polaris. It runs at 28,800 A/h, has 23 jewels, a power reserve of 45 hours thanks to a large variable-inertia balance and ceramic ball bearings, and a quickset date function.

The oscillating weight is decorated with “Cotes de Geneve” stripes and is engraved ADJUSTED TO SIX (6) POSITIONS | JAEGER-LECOULTRE | SWISS | TWENTY THREE (23) JEWELS. The movement has overlapping circular patterns “œil-de-perdrix” finishing and “Cotes de Geneve” stripes and is marked 956 | (SERIAL NUMBER).

The movement is new, it doesn’t look used, it works well and is keeping a pretty accurate time. As for any other vintage or unused movement, a basic revision is recommended.
