A very intriguing collection piece, this watch was probably made in the 1970s, under the name of the world’s renowned rifle manufacturer brand WINCHESTER.
The watch case is a massive chunk of stainless steel (ca. 42 mm x 49 mm). The crown is unmarked. There’s a secondary crown which moves the internal revolving bezel.
Black dial with white indexes and a day/date window. Dual tone white/gold hands.
The back case is marked AUTOMATIC | 885 106 MR | SWISS MADE | 17 JEWELS | STAINLESS STEEL | WATERRESISTANT GUARANTED 5 ATU| SHOCKRESISTANT.
The watch is powered by a Valjoux 7750 Swiss Made movement.
A genuine BESTFIT TROPIC rubber strap, from the same period, complements the watch look and feel.
Very good collector condition, with faint scratches on the watch case, excellent technical condition, the watch is working and keeping a pretty precise time.
No box or papers.
Most of the watches that I am selling are liquidation or collector items, therefor I make no claims and give no warranty regarding continual accuracy of time keeping. Used, antique or vintage watches may need servicing, even if they are in good running condition. Unless otherwise stated they may need to be cleaned, oiled, adjusted and or timed. I cannot guarantee a used watch to be waterproof or water resistant.
