Vintage LAMONT COMPENSAMATIC mechanical chronograph watch from the 1950s.
Lamont was a subsidiary of Nivada / Croton. Compensamatic was featured in the vintage adds of the 1950s (last photos) as an advanced protection system for both altitude and temperature extremes.
Ca. 35 mm diameter. Powered by a Landeron 48 based movement, 17 jewels, 18000 A/h, power reserve ca. 41h.
The watch was short tested and it measures a pretty precise time. The chronograph is functioning well.
The watch was matched with a stunning genuine crocodile leather strap with ardillon buckle.
