Kurt Schaffo is a contemporary watchmaker from Le Locle who worked at the famous Tourbillon builder Fritz Robert-Charrue, before he made himself independent with his eponymous company and specialized on the craftsmanship skeletonization of watch movements. Only about 20-30 mechanical wristwatches, all unique, left his annual workshops under his name. About the same watches he worked for renowned watch manufacturers such as Zenith and Corum. Unfortunately the brand vanished in 2013.
Excellent condition, no box – no papers. The watch is working and keeping a pretty precise time, but as for any other used or vintage watch, a basic revision is advisable.
Most of the watches that I am selling are liquidation or collector items, therefor I make no claims and give no warranty regarding continual accuracy of time keeping. Used, antique or vintage watches may need servicing, even if they are in good running condition. Unless otherwise stated they may need to be cleaned, oiled, adjusted and or timed. I cannot guarantee a used watch to be waterproof or water resistant.
