Automatic chronograph watch movement Valjoux 7558.
The 7758 automatic chronograph caliber from Valjoux belongs to the Valjoux 7750 family. The movement – called 7750 CCL (7750 CCL – “Con Cours de Lune”) – differs only minimally from 7750 in terms of functionality. In addition to the chronograph and the date display, the 7758 automatic movement has a moon phase display.
The Valjoux 7758 was only manufactured between 1985 and 2003 and cannot be found in the ETA movement portfolio. Since then it has been continuously developed and refined. The automatic module is realized with ball bearing and rotor system. The chronograph mechanism has cams and is controlled by 2 pushers. Moon phases at 6 o’clock, replacing the 7750 hours counter.
