CHRONOMETRES FORGET was a Swiss luxury watches manufacturer founded in Geneva in the 1980s and specialized in assembling and the development of advanced complications COSC certified chronometer watches. The company was liquidated in 2016.

E184 Automatic by Chronometres Forget – Swiss Made watch with day and circular date system.

Ca. 38.5 mm diameter (not including the crown) polished stainless steel watch case. 18K gold bezel and screwed crown. Sapphire crystal for both front and back.

This exquisite watch is powered by a very rare CHRONOMETER grade watch movement with day opening at 12:00 and central circular date system.

Beautiful solid silver guilloché dial with Roman numerals, tritium hours marks, “Railway” type watch hands in blued steel, with tritium.

See-thru case-back marked: CHRONOMETRE | STAINLESS STEEL – ACIER. Oscillating weight marked FORGET | SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS | SWISS | UNADJUSTED .

Fast switch interchangeable FORGET original dark green watch strap in genuine leather and stainless steel original bracelet.

Original box with papers and COSC chronometer certification.

The BNWT retail price was over 6000 francs.

The watch is working and keeping a pretty precise time, but as for any other used or vintage watch, a basic revision is recommended.
