TAG Heuer Automatic Chronograph Watch Movement Calibre 1887
The Calibre 1887 is TAG Heuer’s first movement built in-house, based on the design of the Seiko 6s37 chronograph movement. TAG Heuer acquired the rights to the European production of the 6s37 from Seiko Instruments and then began the process of re-engineering and putting together the resources and skills to produce this high-precision in-house watch movement.
All TAG Heuer automatic movements are made in Switzerland and must meet extremely strict criteria for precision before they make it onto your wrist. Their high frequency ensures excellent mechanical precision.
